Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct Services:

Provide trauma-informed, culturally relevant services to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and/or stalking, including: Collaborate with the Support Coordinator to assist program participants in achieving self-identified goals. Providing support services to program participants. Support program participants in adhering to shelter guidelines in a trauma-informed and respectful manner. Providing or arranging transportation for program participants when needed and safe to do so. Complete participant intake processes, including brief assessments and shelter orientation. 2.

Hotline Support:

Respond to the 24-hour confidential crisis hotline, providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, emotional support, information, and referrals. Ensure the hotline is promptly answered during assigned shifts. 3.

Shelter Operations:

Assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the shelter facility. Support the organization and management of in-kind donations. Respond promptly to health and safety concerns observed or raised by program participants. 4.

Administration and Team Participation:

Attend and contribute to staff meetings. Complete a minimum of 20 hours of in-service or job-related training annually. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or on-call staff. Maintain accurate, up-to-date participant records in VADATA while ensuring confidentiality. Document all services and interactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Pay:
