Specialized Crisis Direct Support Professional Upper Valley Services (UVS) - Collaborative Crisis Team Make a Difference Every Day Do you enjoy diversity and flexibility? Upper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermont's designated nonprofit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care. We are seeking a Specialized Crisis Direct Support Professional to join our Collaborative Crisis Team. This position provides personalized crisis stabilization supports to diverse individuals. Supports may include emotional regulation, positive behavior supports, public safety, personal care, and assistance with engaging in home, recreational, and community activities. Compensation Approximately $1,300 per week Compensation is based on 40 regular hours and 8 overtime hours per week Additional overtime opportunities may be available based on program needs Weekly pay Responsibilities Provide crisis stabilization and direct support services Support individuals in developing emotional regulation and coping skills Implement positive behavior supports and person-centered plans Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed Promote community engagement and participation in recreational activities Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals supported Collaborate with team members and other service providers Complete required documentation and reporting Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field or combination of experience and education preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Crisis intervention experience a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work 24-hour shifts Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Company-paid Life Insurance Company-paid Short-Term Disability (STD) Insurance Company-paid Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Wellness incentives and reimbursements Employee referral bonuses Auto Repair Program Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Additional Requirements Candidates must successfully complete all required background checks.
