Job Description
Looking for a job that's active, social, and actually fun? A friendly, outgoing adult in Plover is looking for someone dependable to join his support team. This is a one-on-one position for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, trying different activities, and helping someone make the most of their day. He enjoys NASCAR, Monster Jam, fishing, bowling, walks, board games, mini golf, and adaptive sports like bowling, track, and bocce ball. He's very social and enjoys having someone around who is willing to participate, laugh, and have a good time. And don't let the care-related tasks scare you away! The skills needed for this position are straightforward, and training will be provided . You don't need to walk in knowing how to do everything. We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable helping another person. What You'll Do Your day may include: Helping with everyday personal care and routines Assisting with transfers using an overhead lift (training provided) Helping with G-tube feedings and medication routines (training provided) Driving a wheelchair-accessible van for activities and outings Keeping the home safe and comfortable Joining in on recreational activities and community outings Providing encouragement, companionship, and social support You will be trained on the specific routines and equipment before providing support independently.
Schedule Available shifts:
Tuesday & Wednesday:
3:00 PM-11:00 PM Every other
Friday, Saturday & Sunday:
3:00 PM-11:00 PM Additional overnight hours may be available
Pay & Requirements Pay:
Competitive hourly rate based on the position and responsibilities We're looking for someone who is: 18 or older Reliable, patient, and respectful Comfortable learning hands-on skills Outgoing and enjoys being around people Able to pass a caregiver background check Licensed to drive and able to maintain auto insurance Comfortable driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle Previous caregiving experience is NOT required. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and think you'd enjoy spending time with an active and social person, we'd love to hear from you.
