Job Description

Job Summary The Laboratory Technician supports research scientists by preparing samples, maintaining assigned laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is essential for generating consistently reliable products and keeping lab operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities  Operate laboratory reactors and rotary evaporators according to SOPs  Operate, clean and maintain glove-box type of ISO5 hood  Follow assigned SOP accurately and fill vials with preprepared solutions and crimp filled vials.  Collect and record data accurately  Maintain detailed lab notebooks and documentation  Ensure proper storage and labeling of samples and chemicals  Follow strict safety and quality protocols and regulations  Clean and maintain contaminated glassware as described in SOPs. Qualifications  High school diploma/GED to an associate degree.  Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately  Willing and able to do respective tasks most of the day  Willing and able to sit or stand for long periods of time  Willing and able to handle hazardous materials with proper safety measures  Willing and able to work in regulated environments such as cleanroom. Willing to work in an appropriate PPE such as cleanroom suit (bunny suit).  Able to lift weights up to 40lbs Qualifications  Previous laboratory experience (academic or professional) is preferred but not necessarily.  Basic computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, lab software)
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
