The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by working in both our accessioning department, core lab department and toxicology department Tuesday - Saturday acting as a floating team member assisting various departments according to workload needs. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and execution of laboratory tests, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures. Conduct routine quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Support the collection, processing, and analysis of biological samples, applying appropriate laboratory techniques. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to laboratory processes and equipment. Adhere to CLIA, COLA, CAP and OSHA regulatory requirements. Prepare, label, and handle specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures and safety guidelines. Experience Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting is required. Familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows, related to toxicology, chemistry and hematology. Strong understanding of quality control practices within a laboratory environment. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks performed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
