We are looking for a Laboratory Technician, Plant Biology to support our Research & Development team with plant growth trials, sample collection, laboratory activities, and data recording. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone interested in plant biology, agriculture, and laboratory research. What You'll Do Assist with plant trials, including setup, monitoring, evaluations, and data collection. Monitor plant nutrition and watering according to established protocols. Collect and prepare plant tissue and soil samples for analysis. Maintain accurate experimental records and organized laboratory areas. Support basic laboratory testing, including pH, ion-sensitive electrode, and UV-VIS analysis. Collaborate with scientists and team members to support research projects and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For High school diploma required. Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field or nursery experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Ability to work safely with chemicals and required PPE. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening. About
