Learn More About PPS Job Purpose The Chemistry Lab Technicianwould perform experiments, prepare samples, operate lab equipment, and analyze and record data to support production.

Key duties include collaborating with production and testing team, testing materials as they are generated and adhering to safety protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform a variety of chemical and physical tests and experiments using established laboratory techniques and procedures. Accurately document, analyze, and interpret experimental results while preparing clear and detailed technical reports to communicate findings. Conduct quality control testing and inspections to verify that products meet established quality standards, specifications, and requirements. Follow established safety procedures and regulatory requirements, maintain a safe laboratory environment, and properly handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials. Assist chemists and engineers with laboratory activities, collaborate with cross-functional team members, and provide technical support as needed.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Associate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Laboratory Science, or another related scientific field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to perform essential job functions accurately and consistently while following established procedures and safety requirements. Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and handle laboratory equipment and materials appropriately. Ability to accurately record, document, and communicate technical information and experimental results. Ability to work collaboratively with scientists, engineers, technicians, and other team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous laboratory experience in a chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, environmental, or related scientific setting.
