Job Description:

Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans. Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data. Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary. Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns. Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided. Strives to achieve reliability scores at a prescribed rate. PRN•

Night Shift Education:

Associate [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ experience as a sleep tech [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) [Required]
