$31.66 per hour

Shift:

What's a typical day as Scientist 1 - Quality Labs? You'll be: Performing routine wet chemistry testing in compliance with laboratory methods and procedures. Maintaining laboratory instruments in their qualified state and performing daily calibrations/verifications. Initiating and participating in laboratory investigations of non-conforming test results. Preparing laboratory records and documentation following good documentation practices. Operating laboratory equipment (e.g., Gas Chromatograph, UV-VIS, ICP, FTIR). Utilizing computer software packages relevant to laboratory operations. Preparing standards, reagents, and controls according to established procedures. Providing audit support and maintaining accurate documentation and timely reporting. Complying with all safety and quality system requirements, including the use of PPE. Supporting LEAN, Six Sigma, and Maintenance Excellence initiatives. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred). Are able to rapidly assimilate and apply information, especially during training. Have experience or familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and software packages. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety practices. Are comfortable working the swing shift schedule as outlined above. Possess excellent documentation and communication skills. Are eager to learn and develop competence in laboratory testing and procedures.
