Lab Support Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a PC Technician to support a Long-term Contract assignment in Marlton, New Jersey. This role will focus on preparing, connecting, and validating laboratory-related computer and networked equipment so testing instruments can communicate reliably with Navify middleware and Epic. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical support experience, strong device connectivity knowledge, and the ability to work closely with project teams and operational staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Configure PCs, peripherals, and network-connected equipment to support instrument communication within the testing environment.
  • Connect devices to network drops using RJ45 cabling and verify connectivity through basic IP troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
  • Coordinate with the technical project manager and broader team to complete setup, validation, and issue resolution activities.
  • Support the installation and configuration of laboratory instruments, with particular attention to reliable middleware integration.
  • Assist with interface testing to confirm instrument results are transmitted accurately through Navify and into Epic.
  • Act as an IT point of contact between technical teams and operational stakeholders during deployment activities.
  • Document setup procedures for each in-scope instrument and create clear handoff materials for ongoing operational support.
  • Help identify and resolve hardware, connectivity, and workstation issues that may affect instrument performance or deployment timelines.
