Job Description Shift:
Rotating Status:
40 hours per week Ready to be the backbone of our lab? As a Lab Assistant, you'll work under regular supervision to keep our laboratory running smoothly! You'll master a variety of essential laboratory support procedures—from order entry and specimen pick-up to transportation, tracking, receipt, and processing. You'll become proficient with our information systems and get hands-on experience operating and maintaining pre and post analytic laboratory equipment, including our laboratory automation systems. If needed at your site, you might even get the chance to perform phlebotomy services. Throughout it all, you'll build great relationships with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers by bringing a courteous and professional attitude to every interaction. Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent required. Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Experience in a medical setting, hospital or clinic laboratory preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and human anatomy preferred.
