The Polysomnographic Technician assists in conducting sleep studies and related procedures under the supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or physician. This role focuses on patient preparation, equipment setup, and basic monitoring to ensure accurate data collection and patient safety.

What You'll Do Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with AASM standards Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events with confidence Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols Document all care in the EMR What Makes You a Great Fit You thrive working independently overnight Calm, observant, and detail-oriented Passionate about improving patients' quality of life Enjoy being part of a community-focused hospital team
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program
