Pure Diagnostic Laboratories Position Overview Pure Diagnostic Laboratories is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Urine Sample Collector to work at a clinic in Natchez, Mississippi. (

39120). This role is responsible for collecting urine specimens and, possibly, swab, completing required documentation, and ensuring proper handling and shipment of samples to the laboratory. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the collection process. Compensation & Schedule Hourly pay (rate to be discussed during interview). Up to 35 hours per week, as needed. Clinic-based position. Key Responsibilities Sample Collection & Compliance Collect urine and swab samples from patients following established procedures. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper collection and handling. Maintain the integrity and security of each specimen from collection through shipment. Documentation & Record Keeping Accurately complete the Requisition/Lab Order Form. Ensure all required fields are filled out before submission to the lab. Verify that the patient's health insurance is active. Maintain proper records for reporting and tracking purposes. Specimen Handling & Shipping Properly label, package, and prepare specimens for shipment. Ensure samples are shipped according to laboratory guidelines and timelines. Communication & Support Communicate promptly with the laboratory if any required information is missing. Assist the laboratory with obtaining medical records or additional information if needed. Be available on-site to collect samples as required by the facility schedule. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in specimen collection or a healthcare setting preferred (not required). Strong attention to detail. Good communication and organizational skills.
