Job Description

Category Respiratory - Sleep Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as a valued Sleep Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work nights (40 hours per week) within an AASM-accredited sleep center, supporting patients with sleep disorders and contributing to excellent patient outcomes.
Schedule & Hours:
Night shifts 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred Respiratory therapists without RPSGT are welcome if working in an AASM-accredited sleep center—must have registration by an accepted body or fulfill AASM's training requirements RRT with RPSGT (or equivalent): Eligible to independently perform all technical and scoring duties RRT without RPSGT but with
RST/RRT-SDS
Can perform duties within professional scope without further training RRT without RPSGT/other accepted credential: Must complete A-STEP or accredited polysomnography program within two years (technical duties permitted; scoring requires supervision) Scoring duties without proper certification must be under the supervision of a credentialed sleep specialist/technologist Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct overnight sleep studies including set-up, monitoring, and data acquisition using polysomnographic recording equipment Score and analyze recorded sleep patterns either independently or under appropriate supervision, per credentials Collaborate with the care team to create accurate study reports and recommend therapy options Maintain equipment, observe safety protocols, and comply with all accreditation and healthcare standards
