SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position provides daily oversight for the collection, processing and delivery of all specimens flowing into the laboratory. Additionally, this role facilitates education, training, problem solving and serves as a resource for communications with other health care providers. Provides expertise in all pre-analytical laboratory processes, client services, and billing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

(S): High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical laboratory technician, phlebotomy, or other specialized laboratory training required. Minimum of two (2) years previous experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
