Job Description

Join a high-quality laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician, performing and reporting analyses from various specimens to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing analyses, managing specimens, and confirming identification and suitability. Using proper accessioning procedures and recognizing discrepancies in patient orders. Handling instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, and replenishing supplies. Following established reporting procedures and navigating multiple computer applications. Training new employees and participating in ongoing educational activities to maintain current knowledge.
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor of Science degree or an associate degree with certification in a laboratory science field. Successful completion of accredited Medical Technology or Laboratory Science program or relevant experience. Military medical laboratory experience is welcomed. Ability to perform in a clinical environment with adherence to policies and procedures.
