In this key role, you will prepare test kits, support solution preparation, and maintain analytical equipment in a GMP-regulated lab environment.

Florence, South Carolina job type: Contract salary: $22.00 - 24.50 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Compile and organize analytical testing kits containing columns, glassware, mobile phases, and reference standards for senior scientists. Accurately prepare mobile phases and sample diluents, performing solution calculations verified by senior chemists. Document all preparation activities and lab notebook entries in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Perform daily Operational Qualification (OQ) on analytical equipment, including balances and Karl Fischer titrators. Maintain laboratory inventory, sample log-in documentation, glassware cleaning, and proper waste disposal.
qualifications:
Required:
Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Chemistry, Biology, or a related physical science field. Knowledge of standard laboratory safety requirements and basic chemistry calculations. High attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and maintain organized documentation. Ability to lift 10-35 lbs periodically and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety shoes, gloves).
Preferred:
Prior hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical or fine chemicals testing laboratory.
