Performs routine material sampling and basic testing under direct supervision. Supports daily quality control and production needs. Maintains a clean and organized laboratory workspace. Collect samples of raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., moisture, pH, particle size analysis). Record data accurately in logs or databases. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. Report irregular test results or sample issues to supervisor. Additional duties as assigned.
Required:
High school diploma or GED. High level of safety and quality. Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) Good problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Associate degree in science. 0-1 year of lab or quality experience. Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge. Forklift experience. Computer Software. Warehouse experience.
