Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management are conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. As an employee of Enticare PC, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide care within the specialties of otolaryngology, sleep medicine and allergy health. To be successful in this role, one should be empathic but resolute in decision-making and attentive to detail. Ultimately, a high-performing Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will exhibit cultural competence and exceptional teamwork. Essential responsibilities

Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients
Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's age-specific needs
Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
Assists with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations
Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools
Models professionalism, responsibility, and integrity Minimum qualifications
Current AZ Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or AZ Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or Current AZ Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) Licensure
Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Eligible for hospital privileges
