Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

You'll develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning

Compensation:

Starting at $40.00/hr

Weekly Hours & Schedule:

16-24 hrs/week, with a rotating Saturday shift required What You'll Do Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions Recommend and promote travel health products and medications as clinically appropriate Manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance with safety and documentation protocols Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed Complete ongoing travel medicine training

Here's what that means in practice: Hours are based on client demand, which varies by location and season We create a schedule that offers 6-12 months of consistency, helping provide stability, while recognizing that hours are not guaranteed in some markets To support schedule planning and consistency, we require availability within set scheduling windows, which allows us to provide a clear, forward-looking view of your work schedule We do our best to honor availability, and flexibility (preferred day/time coverage, weekends, or willingness to cover multiple locations) can increase your scheduled hours Peak travel seasons (typically February-August) generally bring higher and more stable volume What You Need to Succeed Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing Compact ( multistate ) RN licensure accepted

• you must legally reside in the state where you are licensed and providing care 5+ years of clinical nursing experience (travel medicine background a plus, not required) Comfortable working independently
• you won't always have backup in the clinic Strong patient communication and education skills Reliable access to a personal computer (training systems require desktop or laptop) Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet) Current First Aid/CPR certification Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed (up to 25 lbs) Ideal For Nurses Who Are adaptable
