• Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care across diverse medical settings, demonstrating expertise in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and specialized care environments. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes while adhering to all safety and compliance standards. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations, to determine appropriate care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV insertion and medication documentation. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently for medical documentation and record-keeping. Provide patient care across various settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, post-acute care, sub-acute care, and emergency rooms. Monitor patient progress by evaluating vital signs, conducting physical assessments, and updating medical records accordingly. Assist with procedures in high-acuity environments such as Level I Trauma Centers, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or surgical settings like the Operating Room (OR). Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. Support infectious disease care protocols and participate in emergency response initiatives within hospital or urgent care environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that meet the needs of diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and trauma cases. Requirements Valid licensure as an RN or LPN with current registration in the applicable state or region. Proven experience working in Level II trauma centers, emergency rooms, or hospital medicine environments. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices. Experience with IV insertion, venipuncture, medication administration, and injection techniques. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities. Strong skills in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and clinical decision-making under pressure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous. Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced settings including urgent care facilities or outpatient clinics. Knowledge of infection control protocols and post-acute or sub-acute care procedures preferred. $32.00 - $48.00 per hour
