This part-time contract role, scheduled for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, offers a unique chance to focus your clinical expertise in a supportive educational setting. You'll provide essential 1:1 care for a student, collaborating with families and educators to ensure their well-being and success throughout each school day.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active New Mexico RN or LPN license (required) Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is highly desirable Strong communication skills and clinical assessment abilities are preferred Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a school environment
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to an assigned student during regular school hours Monitor health status, respond to medical needs, and implement the individualized care plan Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare professionals Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with both district and state healthcare standards Foster a safe and supportive atmosphere that helps the student thrive both academically and personally
