A respected senior living organization is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide leadership for a specialized resident care program within one of our communities. Position Summary The Resident Care Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight of a specialized resident care neighborhood. This individual will lead and support the care team, ensure regulatory compliance, promote quality outcomes, and foster meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Responsibilities Provide daily leadership and clinical oversight for a specialized resident care program. Supervise, mentor, and develop caregivers and medication technicians. Promote person-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of resident safety and quality. Monitor resident care plans, service delivery, and changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians, families, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure compliance with all New York State regulations, company policies, and clinical standards. Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and staff development. Monitor staffing, scheduling, documentation, and departmental performance. Foster a positive culture built on teamwork, accountability, compassion, and respect. Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy. Partner with community leadership to achieve operational and quality goals. Qualifications Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or Long-Term Care strongly preferred. Experience caring for residents living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease preferred. Strong knowledge of medication management, resident assessments, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build trust with residents, families, and team members. Passion for coaching others and creating a culture of excellence. Pay:
$78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
