WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a prestigious skilled nursing facility in Manhattan, NY .

Job Responsibilities:

Plan and manage patient care based oAn each patient's individual needs. Interview patients and accurately document medical history and physical condition. Obtain and monitor patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Provide routine nursing care and monitor patients' overall health and well-being. Assist with patient comfort and activities of daily living as needed. Assist physicians and Registered Nurses with patient care and clinical procedures. Prepare and properly handle specimens for laboratory courier pickup. Provide wound care and monitor wounds for changes or signs of infection. Prepare and administer injections and enemas as ordered. Monitor and provide care for catheters. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards.

Requirements:

Completion of a state-approved LPN program. Current LPN license in the state of practice, or willingness to obtain the appropriate license. Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience required. At least 6 months of Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) experience preferred. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Full-Time:

5x8-hour shifts

Part-Time:

3x8-hour shifts Rotating weekends and holidays required Day, evening, and night positions available.

Day Shift:

7:30 AM•3:30

PM Evening Shift:

3:30 PM•11:30

PM Night Shift:

11:30 PM•7:30 AM Pandologic.
