LPN - ORAL SURGERY

Lake Front Oral Surgery - Plattsburgh, NY Lake Front Oral Surgery is looking for a dependable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our oral surgery team. This is a great opportunity for an LPN interested in working in a specialized surgical setting alongside an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Previous oral surgery or dental experience is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities May Include:

Assisting the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with surgical procedures Preparing patients and surgical rooms for procedures Starting peripheral IVs when appropriate and within scope of practice Obtaining and documenting vital signs Assisting with patient monitoring before, during, and after procedures Providing pre-operative and post-operative patient education Sterilization and infection-control procedures Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Assisting with emergency preparedness and clinical protocols Working closely with our surgical assistants and administrative team

Qualifications:

Current New York State LPN license Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain IV experience preferred Dependable and punctual Excellent communication and patient-care skills Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn oral surgery procedures and protocols Dental or oral surgery experience is a plus, but not required.
