Your day begins by meeting the student at their home, accompanying them on the bus, and ensuring continuous 1:1 nursing through the school day, all while collaborating with the schools nursing team.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current and active LPN/LVN license required Experience working with pediatric patients, especially in educational or 1:1 care settings Skilled in tracheostomy and Passy-Muir valve care Comfortable providing compassionate, individualized support throughout the school day Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with family, transportation staff, and the school nurse Willingness to accompany and supervise patient during daily bus transportation

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 nursing assistance to a third-grade student, focusing on safety and well-being Manage trach and Passy-Muir valve care as required Monitor the student's health status, responding to any changes as needed Support the students participation in classroom activities, ensuring all care needs are met Document all care provided and maintain open communication with parents and school nurse Participate in collaborative planning and provide health updates as necessary This weekday position follows the student's school schedule (MondayFriday, approximately 7:15 AM3:15 PM) and begins September 15, 2026.
