Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a private family medicine office. This role requires a thorough understanding of patient needs, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Duties Assist the physician/clinician in the treatment of primary care patients Room patients and perform assessment Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples for laboratory tests as ordered by the clinician Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and replenish supplies as necessary Responsible for daily checks on emergency kit Enter labs and x-rays into patient's records Administer all allergy injections as well as other vaccinations as needed and directed by physician. Educate patients and their families about medications, vaccines, and procedures, offering clear instructions and answering any questions to ensure their understanding Administer medications as directed by physician / clinician. Calls in or eprescribe prescriptions under authorization of physician / clinician. Maintain positive attitude and working relationship with patients, their family members, and coworkers. Check temperature of vaccine refrigerator daily. Quality control on all new test supplies before they are used and keep accurate record. Answer phone and return patient calls Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA standards. Manage and order vaccine inventory monthly. Check dates on stock items Manage patient record correspondence Review charge to ensure proper information for quality assurance Help coordinate referral and prior authorization process for patients in regards to radiology and specialty care Help coordinate prior authorization process in regards to medications This is a team effort position. There will be two full-time LPNs coordinating care for two full-time providers. Both nurses will coordinate the above mentioned responsibilities in a team manner. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Valid LPN license in the state of practice. eClinicalWorks experience preferred but not necessary We encourage applicants who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while continuously improving their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
