This is a unique role for someone who thrives in both medical and behavioral care environments. About the
Client:
The individual receiving care is developmentally delayed and medically complex with a rare medical condition and significant behavioral challenges. There are moments of aggression, refusal, and emotional dysregulation—but also moments of genuine humor, curiosity, and connection when trust is established. Communication tools such as predictive text and visual cards are used as well as verbal communication. This person thrives with adults who provide structure, patience, and calm consistency. Also someone with a good sense of humor. Hours are 7pm-7am with some flexibility on the evenings.
Duties Include:
G-tube care and feedings Medication administration Monitoring oxygen and administering breathing treatments Assistance with hygiene and dressing Patience Support during moments of dysregulation
Ideal Candidate:
LPN or RN license in good standing (Required) Experience with pediatrics, behavioral health, or medically complex clients Calm, confident, and consistent under pressure Comfortable with noncompliance and redirection Strong communication and boundary-setting skills This role is for you if you: Don't take behavior personally Know how to stay regulated even when someone else isn't Believe every person deserves dignity—even on their hardest day Are able to put your phone away while interacting with patient. The patient is mobile and active Are reliable and consistent
YOU MUST
have an active Medicaid Number
AND BE ENROLLED IN EPACES. YOU WILL DO YOUR OWN BILLING BUT THE LEAD NURSE HANDLES ALL OF THE PAPERWORK FOR PA
