Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/LPN, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. This position combines hands-on medical assisting with nursing responsibilities, ensuring smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient experiences. You will support medical providers and healthcare providers by performing clinical tasks, managing medical documentation, and providing compassionate patient service. Duties Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient clinic Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens accurately for laboratory testing Administer medications and injections following proper protocols and pharmacology guidelines Support medical team with outpatient care tasks, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with patients Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and ICD coding requirements Manage medical office operations such as scheduling, maintaining medical records, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care delivery Qualifications Valid LPN license or Medical Assistant certification with relevant clinical experience Proven experience in urgent care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics Strong knowledge of pharmacology, and medical terminology Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR/EHR management software Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus Experience working in outpatient settings is highly desirable Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately in fast-paced environments Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient health outcomes!
