At WTCSB our mission is to provide a coordinated system of quality recovery-oriented care in Mental Health, Intellectual Disability, and Substance Abuse Services to the citizens of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Smithfield/Isle of Wight and Southampton. We continually strive to value staff, support diversity, and promote excellence and personal choice in the provision of consumer care. We are seeking a License Practical Nurse at our CCSU Facility!
Location:
Windsor, VA Full-time and Part-time Shifts Responsibilities & Duties for
Full-Time & Part-time LPN:
Implement and maintain Individual Service Plans for consumers. Conduct ongoing physical and mental health assessments. Maintain accurate consumer records and monitor safety. Supervise and oversee individual medical treatment programs. Administer and deliver prescribed medications as needed. Educate consumers on medication compliance and potential side effects. Assess vital signs, height, weight, and monitor medication compliance. Complete prior authorizations and assist with psychiatric medication needs. Ensure compliance with agency policies and relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications and Skills for
Full-Time LPN:
Graduation from an accredited License Practical Nurse Program. Current, unrestricted LPN license in Virginia or from a Nurse Licensure Compact State. Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a mental health program and/or residential setting. Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Valid driver's license with an acceptable DMV record. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
Experience with electronic medical records and basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations.
