Job Summary (Essential Functions) The Massage Therapist position here at Rolling Hills Country Club provides a variety of touch modalities for our members as listed in the Spa Menu which includes massage and body treatments. Using outstanding customer service the massage therapist will also suggest products and services to meet the individual needs of each member.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Abilities :

Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong work ethic. Excellent customer service skills. Experience. Previous experience providing spa treatments to others is required. People person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected. Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate effectively with members, team members, and facility leaders.

Normal work hours:

Varied to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Education/Certifications :

High School Diploma or GED Current California Massage License Minimum Experience:

Must have 2 years' experience in a luxury spa, health club spa, resort spa or day spa.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in helping with cleanliness throughout the Spa. Restore and restock treatment rooms to a neat and professional manner after each service Maintain training and credit hours required to sustain state issued Massage Therapist license Ensure the privacy of each member Provide consultation to guests as needed to determine their unique needs and expectations Follows emergency protocol as required until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. Using outstanding customer service skills, the Massage Therapist will also suggest products and services to meet the individual needs of each member.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that members and associates can relate to. Share your personal passion for and the knowledge of the services and amenities available to members to make them feel right at home. Be able to accurately describe and sell the services and products that are offered at the Spa. Ensure the privacy of each member- this is of utmost importance. Provide consultation to guests as needed to determine their unique needs and expectations. Provide excellent customer service, present a professional appearance and attitude, and helps monitor member feedback. Assist in helping with cleanliness throughout the Spa, which includes restoring and restocking the treatment rooms to a neat and inviting manner after each service. Follow emergency protocols as required (if needed) until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Must have an in-depth knowledge of safe massage and body treatment techniques. Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, and have the a bility to communicate and connect with a diverse group of individuals of all age groups. Ability to work as a team player and always maintain a professional appearance. Ability to work all shifts - days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

EXPERIENCE

2+ years' massage experience in a luxury spa, health club spa, resort, or day spa Must be at least 18 years of age

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Current California Massage License required Maintain training and credit hours required to sustain state issued Massage Therapist License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
