Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification and licensing in good standing Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and care excellence Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Hands-on experience performing deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy effectively Familiarity with patient assessment techniques to customize treatments based on individual needs Strong communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and building rapport with clients
