We are seeking a licensed massage therapist to join our health care practice to further our mission of creating this holistic environment of healing and movement for our patients. You would be joining a team of physical therapists and personal trainers with the goal of applying your skills to apply your mobility and pain management techniques to ensure patient/client vitality and movement to support them in their exercise and wellness demands. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques to meet individual client needs. Communicate with both clients and coworkers to create a comprehensive massage care plan based on identified impairments, previous medical issues as applicable, and goals for care. Assist in client retention for recurring sessions as indicated. Coordinate with physical therapy and personal training regarding identified changes in health history or newly identified client complaints or reports. Utilize existing EMR systems to track applied treatments for consistency across sessions as well as communicate with coworkers. Requirements Valid state licensure in the state of Illinois as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with comfort in adapting treatment based on previous history of orthopedic ailments Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and familiarity with medical terminology preferred. Comfort or experience working in coordination with healthcare providers to identify cross-discipline assessment of client complaints or concerns is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours based on demand.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
