Job Description
Are you a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist seeking an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic wellness-based practice team? McAllister Chiropractic is looking for a dedicated and experienced massage therapist to join our team. If you are committed to providing exceptional patient care and enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive and patient-centered environment, we want to hear from you. Additional office hours available as chiropractic assistant outside of massage hours. Duties
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to target specific areas
- Monitor clients' responses to treatment and adjust techniques as needed
- Educate clients on self-care techniques to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Requirements:
- Valid Indiana State license as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in medical terminology, pain management, and occupational health
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and acute pain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with clients
- Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods of time Monday thru Thursday Part Time Hours Example of hours:
Monday & Wednesday:
1:30 PM- 6:30
PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM- 11:30
AM Thursday:
8:30 AM- 12:30
