Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe therapy delivery Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates in compliance with privacy regulations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, preferences, and health history, ensuring a personalized experience Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized treatment area in accordance with licensing standards Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually enhance service quality Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification and registration Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and deliver effective treatments Familiarity with pain management techniques and patient assessment procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients CPR certification and knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a meaningful difference.
