Chevy Chase Club is seeking a skilled, professional, and service-oriented Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Fitness & Wellness team. This individual will work alongside a dynamic team of health and wellness professionals dedicated to enhancing the overall well-being of our members. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients achieve their wellness goals through therapeutic massage while delivering an exceptional member experience in a welcoming and professional environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with members and guests. Perform professional massage treatments tailored to the individual needs and wellness goals of each client. Conduct client consultations and health assessments prior to treatment. Deliver massage services safely, effectively, and within the scope of Maryland licensure requirements. Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records. Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment rooms. Educate clients on wellness, recovery, and self-care practices that support overall health and fitness goals. Promote Fitness & Wellness services and contribute to member engagement initiatives. Adhere to all Club policies, sanitation standards, and professional ethical guidelines. Collaborate with Fitness & Wellness staff to support a comprehensive approach to member health and wellness. Maintain professional liability insurance and all required certifications and licenses. Qualifications Current Massage Therapy License in the State of Maryland. Current Professional Liability Insurance required. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred. Previous experience in a fitness, wellness, spa, resort, or private club environment preferred. Experience and proficiency in the following massage modalities preferred: Swedish Massage Deep Tissue Massage Hot Stone Massage Prenatal Massage Aromatherapy Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a member-focused approach at all times.
