Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to understand specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies for ongoing wellness Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and client records in compliance with licensing standards Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation and safety protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes and pain management strategies Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and patient assessment techniques Proficiency in advanced massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and connect with clients effectively Knowledge of pain management techniques and holistic health practices Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences!
