Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and needs before each session. Provide various types of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as required. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient service. Keep accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology or conditions. Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients. Skills Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology related to occupational health and pain management. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships. Ability to communicate clearly with clients regarding their needs and treatment plans. Experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required.
