Job Description

Position Title:

Massage Therapist SUMMARY Truecare Chiropractic is seeking a patient centered massage therapist to join our growing team. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage techniques. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our patients. They must hold and maintain a current state license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.  Provide consistent professional massage in accordance with chiropractic protocols and accepted certification practices.  Effectively inform and educate our patients about specific wellness concerns.  Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the practice.  Actively promote the practice, treatments, services and retail through marketing and promotional events.  Properly care for equipment.  Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.  Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the practices policies and procedures.  Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.  Handle clients questions and concerns professionally and courteously.  Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.  Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the practice.  Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management.  Practice safety standards and reports all unsafe conditions.  Ability to follow established guidelines, procedures and policies.  Adherence to prescribed grooming and appearance standards. 

QUALIFICATIONS

 Must hold and maintain a current state license. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE 2

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before guests or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
