Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for providing therapeutic massage treatments to clients, focusing on pain management and overall wellness. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the client experience through personalized care and effective communication. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including trigger point therapy and pain management strategies. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client history and specific concerns. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care or additional services available at our facility. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a chiropractic environment to enhance patient care and overall treatment outcomes. Stay updated on medical terminology, occupational health practices, and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Be a healthy individual, great hygiene, takes pride in wellness themselves. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Experience in trigger point therapy or similar modalities is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment techniques is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and evenings .
