Intro Bonne Terre Chiropractic is searching for an amazing licensed massage therapist to join our team. We are a busy chiropractic and rehabilitation office. We have an amazing staff and treat our team members like family. The therapist will have a dedicated treatment room all to herself. We are flexible on terms of employment. We are open to an employee arrangement or contractor (rental) agreement. We will provide a health records system for you, scheduling, phone and payment collection if you prefer. You will actively receive referrals from our chiropractic team, allowing you to grow your patient base quickly. Skip the corporate massage chains and join us and be paid fairly for your work. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as moderate and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage and prenatal massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using appropriate medical terminology. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Desire to work in an integrative and collaborative setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. CPR certification will be required following hiring. Previous experience working in massage therapy is preferable but not mandatory.
