Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team As a 1099 contractor position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional client care. You will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massages to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. Responsibilities Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide a range of massage techniques including relaxation, deep tissue massage and hot stone therapy. Develop customized treatment plans based on client assessments and goals. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices for pain management. Maintain accurate records of treatments, progress, and client feedback. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients. Stay informed about advancements in massage therapy techniques and industry best practices. Experience Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Experience in spa settings is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
