In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services tailored to each client's unique needs, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule while delivering high-quality care in a professional environment. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive service. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage strategies and develop customized treatment plans. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions while educating clients on their health and wellness. Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels, treatment goals, and post-session care instructions. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress, treatment details, and any relevant medical information or terminology. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements, to ensure a safe environment for clients and yourself. Promote excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client retention and positive feedback. Skills Proven experience in patient service with strong client communication skills that foster trust and comfort. Expertise in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately to tailor treatments effectively. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in specialized massage techniques are a plus. Knowledge of occupational health practices relevant to workplace wellness programs.
