In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through tailored treatments and exceptional patient service. Duties Provide professional massage therapy services including Medical massage therapy, swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session care recommendations Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with health regulations Educate clients on self-care techniques and occupational health practices to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills and certifications Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other modalities Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent patient communication skills to build trust and ensure client comfort throughout sessions Ability to interpret medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health for effective treatment planning Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and state licensing as a Massage Therapist required Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters client loyalty Experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred for a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and treatment protocols Join us in creating a positive impact on our clients' lives through expert massage therapy!
