BESPOKE DERMATOLOGY & AESTHETICS
The ideal candidate will be performing administrative duties, such as answering phones and greeting patients to clinical duties, including taking medical histories and assisting providers during examinations. In addition, the role requires an individual with exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette, who is self-motivated, caring, and compassionate with a positive attitude and has the desire to learn and grow with our team.
Requirements:
Minimum 1+ year of experience in a dermatology clinic. Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) or Spanish speaker highly preferred. Excellent opportunity for Pre-health (med students, PA, RN) to gain exposure in dermatology (medical/surgical/aesthetics). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet patients upon first entry to the lobby and conduct check-in procedures. Assist in answering incoming calls, making in-office appointments, and answering general patient questions. Walk patients to exam rooms, obtain patient information, and document in the patient's chart. Assist providers in exam rooms. Assist with surgery/procedure. Provide instructions to patients as directed by providers. Maintain exam rooms by stocking appropriate supplies and cleaning/sterilizing as necessary. Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patients, providers, and the pharmacy as needed. Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to providers. Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e., refrigerator temperatures, expired medications). All other responsibilities assigned by providers or practice administrator.
