Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to support our 6 Rheumatologists. Candidate will work 4/10hr days with one day off during the week (specific day not yet determined). Primary responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, phlebotomy, performing medication refills, and triaging calls with patients. Candidate will work 4 days/week at our offices in Englewood, Lone Tree, Thornton, or Littleton). Majority of time will be spent at our Englewood office. Must have minimum 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant. Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Administer basic life support as needed and ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health systems.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a focus on patient service.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient care.
  • Familiarity with internal medicine practices is a plus.
  • Ability to perform basic life support techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
