This role is essential in providing exceptional patient service and administrative support within Altitude Dermatology. The ideal candidate will possess experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and excellent communication skills to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Clinical Duties:
Clean, disinfect, stock, and prepare examination rooms and clinical equipment in accordance with OSHA, infection prevention, and practice standards. Monitor inventory of clinical supplies and notify appropriate personnel when replenishment is needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with
HIPAA, OSHA
standards, payer requirements, and practice policies. Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, OSHA standards, payer requirements, and practice policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with providers, medical assistants, and other team members to promote efficient clinic operations and outstanding patient service. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, regular attendance, and punctuality to ensure continuity of patient care. Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the responsibilities of the position.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred; dermatology experience is a plus. Experience working in an outpatient medical or specialty practice preferred. Experience with electronic health records; EPIC experience preferred. Ability to perform clinical duties within the scope of training, demonstrated competency, applicable laws and regulations, and practice policies.
