Pediatric Associates has a part time position open in our Montrose location for a Medical assistant, licensed practical nurse or CNA willing to learn and grow with our team. As a member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support clinicians and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with a high level of quality and customer service in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Interview patients and document basic medical history Assist clinicians during medical examinations and with vital signs, injections, minor surgical procedures and running lab tests Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services Organize and schedule appointments Update medical records Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

Skills:

Proven working experience as a medical professional Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient electronic health record software Prefer degree or certificate in medical assistance or nursing, but will train the right candidate.
