You will play a vital role in both clinical and daily operations, working closely with our physician to deliver exceptional care to our patient community. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, multitasks effectively, and values meaningful patient relationships. Duties Room patient swiftly, review medical histories, and accurately record vital signs. Perform EKGs, draw blood (phlebotomy), and administer injections Act as the primary liaison between patients and the physician Triage patient phone calls, address clinical inquiries, and relay test results under provider direction. Process pharmacy refill requests and obtain prior authorizations. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records within our EMR system, knowledge of Oracle (Cerner) health EMR a plus. Qualifications Minimum 2 year experience as a Medical Assistant (primary care a plus). Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Strong communication, excellent multitasking abilities, and empathetic demeanor. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA). Phlebotomy certification a plus.
