Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this energetic role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth patient flow and accurate medical documentation. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently and accurately Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all supplies are stocked for smooth clinical operations Perform clinical procedures such as EKGs, rapid tests, ear lavages, urinalysis and injections Support physicians during procedures by handing instruments, managing documentation, and ensuring patient comfort Manage medical records with precision, including ICD coding, medical documentation, and maintaining compliance with privacy regulations Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-procedure care to promote understanding and adherence Coordinate with hospital medicine, urgent care, dermatology, geriatrics, and outpatient services to facilitate seamless patient transitions and care continuity Requirements Proven experience in medical office environments with strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and EMR/EHR systems Prior medical office experience is highly desirable Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations including geriatrics Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of ICD coding standards and electronic health records management to ensure precise documentation Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts patient well-being! From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
